USPS has built an automated postal verification system to help streamline deliveries while also catching any postal inconsistencies. To read more about how USPS implemented their system you can view their website here.
In response, we have also implemented an automated system to help inform our users in a timely manner when they receive a discrepancy in their postage.
How do I know if I have a package adjusted?
If you received an overage, you will receive a detailed invoice in your email. The invoice will contain an itemized list of packages affected, how they were adjusted, and the difference in postage.
If you received a shortage, then you will receive any funds through your Shipping Balance. You will also receive an email with the total amount of packages affected and the total refund applied to your account.
How long does it take for me to receive a charge for an overage?
Turn around time can vary anywhere between 1 to 3 weeks from when the package is initially sent in the mail.
How will I be charged?
You will automatically be charged to the payment method that you have on file with ZenSales. If you have a particularly high dollar amount on your report then you may receive an invoice due to be paid within three days of receipt.
I don't think my adjustment is right!
